The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a month-long nationwide campaign, Sankalp Se Samriddhi (From Resolve to Prosperity), to mark 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, which the party describes as a transformative era for India’s development, global stature, and inclusive growth. Running from June 8 to July 7, 2025, the campaign aims to engage millions of citizens in celebrating milestones achieved under PM Modi’s tenure while rallying support for the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047.

A Vision of Service and Progress
Drawing inspiration from PM Modi’s philosophy of ‘Seva, Sushasan, and Samriddhi’ (Service, Good Governance, and Prosperity), the campaign underscores the government’s achievements in infrastructure, digital innovation, social welfare, and India’s rising global influence. At the campaign’s launch in New Delhi, BJP National President JP Nadda hailed Modi’s leadership as a beacon of hope and progress.
“PM Modi has redefined governance by empowering the marginalized, strengthening the economy, and elevating India’s global standing. From building world-class infrastructure to ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes, his 12 years have laid the foundation for a self-reliant India. Sankalp Se Samriddhi is a celebration of this journey and a call to every Indian to join the mission of building a prosperous nation,” Nadda said.
A Nationwide Movement
The Sankalp Se Samriddhi campaign features a diverse range of activities designed to connect with citizens across urban and rural India. Inspired by the BJP’s successful Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), which reached over 15 crore people in 2023-24, this campaign aims to deepen public engagement through grassroots and digital initiatives. Key activities include:
Sankalp Sabhas: Public rallies and town halls in over 600 districts, where BJP leaders, including Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and MPs, will highlight flagship schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Jal Jeevan Mission. These events will feature testimonials from beneficiaries to showcase real-world impact.
Digital Exhibitions: On-ground and virtual exhibitions will showcase India’s progress in infrastructure, renewable energy, and technology. A dedicated section will highlight the Digital India initiative, which has made India a global leader in digital payments through UPI, with over 1,200 crore transactions monthly as of 2024.
Seva Karyakram: BJP workers will organize community service programs, including blood donation drives, tree plantation campaigns under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam initiative, and cleanliness drives inspired by the Swachh Bharat Mission, which has constructed over 12 crore toilets since 2014.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra: A nationwide pledge campaign inviting citizens to commit to India’s development goals. The BJP aims to collect over 10 crore pledges, which will be presented to PM Modi as a symbol of national unity.
Youth and Women Empowerment Programs: Special outreach events will focus on schemes like Startup India, which has supported over 1.25 lakh startups, and Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, credited with improving India’s sex ratio at birth to 933 females per 1,000 males by 2024.
Celebrating 12 Years of Achievements
The campaign highlights the Modi government’s transformative policies over the past 12 years, drawing on data and milestones reported by government and media sources:
Economic Growth: India has risen to become the world’s fifth-largest economy, with a GDP of $3.9 trillion in 2024, and is projected to be the third-largest by 2030. The Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative has boosted indigenous manufacturing, with defence exports rising to ₹21,083 crore in 2023-24.
Infrastructure Revolution: Over 80,000 km of roads, 12 new expressways, and 100 new airports have been built or upgraded since 2014. The Bharatmala and Sagarmala projects have enhanced connectivity, while the Jal Jeevan Mission has provided tap water to over 15 crore households.
Social Welfare: Schemes like PM Jan Dhan Yojana have opened over 50 crore bank accounts, Ujjwala Yojana has provided 10 crore LPG connections, and Ayushman Bharat has benefited over 30 crore people with free healthcare.
Digital Leadership: India’s digital economy is among the fastest-growing globally, with UPI accounting for 80% of global financial transaction volume in 2024. The CoWIN platform facilitated 220 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses, earning global praise.
Global Influence: India’s leadership in the G20, BRICS, and the International Solar Alliance has positioned it as a voice for the Global South. The Vaccine Maitri initiative supplied 30 crore vaccine doses to over 100 countries during the pandemic.
Grassroots to Global: A Unified Effort
The BJP has mobilized its cadre, from booth-level workers to national leaders, to ensure the campaign’s success. Drawing on the model of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which used IEC (Information, Education, Communication) vans to reach remote areas, Sankalp Se Samriddhi will deploy mobile units equipped with LED screens to showcase government achievements in villages and small towns.
In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the campaign in Varanasi, emphasizing PM Modi’s connection with the common man. “From Kashi to Kanyakumari, PM Modi’s policies have touched every Indian. This campaign will strengthen the bond between the government and the people,” he said.
In Tamil Nadu, BJP state president K Annamalai announced Sankalp Yatras covering all 39 districts, focusing on schemes like PM Mudra Yojana, which has disbursed ₹23 lakh crore to small entrepreneurs, many from southern states. Similar region-specific programs are planned in West Bengal, Gujarat, and Northeast India, with a focus on local achievements.
A Call to the Future
The Sankalp Se Samriddhi campaign is not just a look back at 12 years but a forward-looking movement aligned with India’s Amrit Kaal—the journey to 2047. The BJP is leveraging social media to amplify the campaign, encouraging citizens to share stories of transformation using hashtags like #SankalpSeSamriddhi and #12YearsOfModi. A dedicated website and mobile app will allow users to access interactive content, submit pledges, and watch live events.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, speaking at a rally in Ahmedabad, urged citizens to join the campaign. “PM Modi’s vision has made India a land of opportunities. Let us unite to make Viksit Bharat a reality,” he said.
As India stands at a pivotal moment in its development journey, Sankalp Se Samriddhi seeks to galvanize the nation around PM Modi’s vision of a prosperous, inclusive, and self-confident India. With millions expected to participate, the campaign is poised to be a landmark celebration of leadership and collective aspiration.
