PM Modi: Govt Modernising Education System for 21st Century Needs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the government's efforts to modernise the Indian education system to meet the demands of the 21st century. Modernisation of Education Infrastructure

The Prime Minister outlined several initiatives aimed at modernising the education system. These include the development of the National Curriculum Framework, new textbooks for classes 1 to 7, and digital education platforms like PM e-Vidya and Diksha. Modi pointed out that strengthening the nation’s research ecosystem has been a priority. With rapid progress in this area, numerous state-of-the-art research parks have been established, and innovation is flourishing across the country. The number of patents filed from India has more than doubled, rising from 40,000 in 2014 to over 80,000 today.
